Standalone vs. Barcode Mode
SaberNet DCS has two basic modes of operation as far as the end user is concerned.
- Barcode Mode: In this mode of operation most of the user interaction is done through barcode scans.
- Standalone Mode: In this mode of operation most of the user interaction is done with the mouse and keyboard
It should be noted that barcode and standalone modes are not mutually exclusive. The features of both can be used at the same time. It all depends on how it is configured. Please see the Administrator's Guide for documentation on how to configure SaberNet DCS.
